The International Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT) is dedicated to the advancement of evidence-based non-operative care for people with scoliosis and structural changes of the spine.
The International Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment is a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 out of a need to share options for the non-operative management of structural spine changes.
We foster research on the early detection, prevention, treatment and outcomes of patients with structural spine changes and provide multiple venues for the dissemination of this work.
We encourage interdisciplinary teamwork between scientists, healthcare providers, patients and families.
We have a strong commitment to the education of our members and those in the larger community to improve patient outcomes. To this end, we host an Annual Meeting, monthly newsletters, web-based seminars and maintain an active presence on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
